  The Fire Academy and Health Science II class at Harnett Central High School have been studying fires and fire safety. Chief Reginald Hocutt demonstrated different types of fires to the classes today and is certifying the Health Science II class in Fire Safety and Use of Fire Extinguishers.

From WaterKeeper.org MONCURE, NC – Waterkeeper Alliance has released aerial surveillance photos taken from a fixed-wing aircraft last week which show Duke Energy workers pumping wastewater from two of Duke Energy’s toxic coal ash lagoons into a canal that drains into the Cape Fear River.
