Anderson Creek Primary hosted Bright Star Children’s Theatre in a performance of “Gus Goes Green” on September 24.The program featured Gus the dog as he encouraged students to be good citizens of the earth and protect their environment. Gus used students from the audience to help with the recycling demonstration.

Harnett County Schools, in conjunction with WNCN-TV and the Department of Public Instruction, recently participated in filming a public service announcement (psa) about school bus safety. This is one of several PSA’s created to promote the #Brake4Buses Campaign in our state. Nicole Smith, bus driver at North Harnett Primary, and her bus are featured in the video
