The GOP members of Congress have failed us and their Failure is hurting the economy and the citizens of our country.  It is time for it to stop.

The Republicans have proven that they are totally not capable of governing.  In the last two years while being in control of the US House they failed to pass any bills that had bipartisan support, they caused the good faith and credit of the USA to be questioned and our creditors reduced our bond rating thus costing more interest to be paid on money borrowed by the US.  They failed to pass good jobs legislation that would have put people back to work and for 17 months they have known that without a fix the sequestration would be in place January 1, 2013 cutting our budget at levels that will send us into a deep recession and unemployment would rise to 9.3%.  Also the Bush Tax cuts would expire and taxes would rise on everyone.  We cannot operate our government without enough revenue to keep us stable and taxes are lower than they have been in history yet they are unwilling to raise taxes on high income Americans which have a tax avoidance advantage.  The GOP has control of the US House and that is a fraud.  They have drawn the Congressional district by gerrymandering them and thus those representatives got elected or re-elected by a 60% margin. They do not represent a majority of the American People nor did they get a majority of votes in the election to the US House.  Actually they received 1 million less votes than the Democrats in the US House, yet they stand up in front of a news camera and say they are speaking for the American People.  Then the lies are running out of control.  Most of the GOP Senators say it is President Obama’s fault and that he has not submitted a plan which is a lie.  Each of them have the same scripted statement written by some Republican pollster and they do not have the courage to say what is true for fear they are not going to be re-elected.  It is time for US Senators and US Congressmen to speak the truth and do what is good for the American People.  If not then we have to get them out of office and not stop until they are all removed.  Our Democracy is not going to stand and is going to fail if our government continues to be run like it is presently.  We deserve more and demand it.
