Joe Miller

County Commissioner District 5

Former congressman Bob Etheridge and I didn’t see eye to eye on several issues concerning this country but one thing I will have to stand up for him on is he never forgot where he came from and he never forgot the people of this county. I would like to know where Mrs.Elmers is, we could use her right now but she is no where to be found. Mrs. Elmers sometimes will send someone from her office but that is always the same thing, I will have to ask Mrs. Elmers or I will have to take that up with Mrs. Elmers. In other words, nothing, we need schools, we need the government to give Harnett County what they promised when Brac started and to this point nothing. Big Fat Nothing! I have not heard a word of anything Mrs. Elmers has said or done on this issue. Maybe as a county we need to look at where the candidates come from and if they have any roots in our district which would help them remember who put them in office. I am yet to hear from anyone in any office that is willing to stand up for Harnett County and our issues with schools. We are waiting and listening and hoping for some answers from our state and federal officials! We had a 1/4 cent sales tax increase on the ballot last election which would have paid for the new Highland Middle School but just a few of us pushed for that and we see what happened to that. Ground has been broken for that school and yet the funding issue is still there.. Go Figure!!

I agree with you Mr. Miller. I have written her almost weekly the last three years and nothing. I get those government paid for campaign ads she sends around which she dogged Bob about during the campaign. In the last six months I think the Speaker has put a gag order on her because she has been silent. She is all about voting with the tea party and sends out boiling messages about how the government cannot afford anything. When the farmers went to see her about the Chicken plant closure in Siler City and them losing their contracts she offered lip service and said the government was not supposed to help those people what a tragic situation, we really have not got a Congressman-woman, she is just there to hold the space and draw the benefits and retirement. David Lewis fixed the district in order to help her. Maybe we need to contact him and see if he can move her along. Really she is not effective and not too smart. Someone needs to take her out in the next election.

From one Joe to another, (Joe Langley to Joe Miller)

Joe Miller you are EXACTLY correct.

Renee Ellmers sounds to Democrats and Republicans like a broken record.

All during her campaign ALL that I ever heard from her was two words.

    “REPEAL OBAMACARE”

Now her new line is “WE HAVE A SPENDING PROBLEM IN WASHINGTON.”

OK Renee, EVERYONE AGREES !!! NOW PROPOSE SOMETHING THAT WILL FIX THIS PROBLEM !!!

You are our Congresswoman and leader, NOW LEAD !!!

The citizens of Harnett County are looking for an ORIGINAL THOUGHT FROM YOU !!!

We can elect a Parrot to do what you have done for the last two years, which is NOTHING more
than repeat the mission of the National Republican Party.

I want to hear the Ellmers plan or the Ellmers Bill or something that comes totally FROM YOU !!!

Is this possible for you Renee?

Start giving the citizens of Harnett County their 177 thousand dollars worth, (I think that is you salary).

I have a better idea, why don’t you have a town meeting in Harnett County IN PERSON, NOT through a Tele-Town Hall meeting over the phone. BE COURAGEOUS !!! WE WON’T BITE YOU !!!

But we will hold you accountable.

Stop the B.S. and starting earning your pay !!! Have the courage to have a Town Hall meeting !!!
The citizens of Harnett County will ask the questions and you can provide YOUR answers.

As for Joe Millers comments on the need for schools in Western Harnett, lets ALL remember that Renee Ellmers, Representative Mike Stone, Representative Mike Stone, and Senator Ron Rabin did NOT show up for ANY of the meetings by the Harnett County School Board or the Harnett County Board of Commissioners, when the problem of the critical need for schools was being discussed.

To quote Joe Miller who is EXACTLY RIGHT, “Go Figure.”
