JOHNSTON COUNTY, N.C. — An Angier man died early Sunday when his motorcycle ran off the road on N.C. Highway 210 in Johnston County. State police said Joseph Daniel Pollard, 26, of 2201 Massengill Pond Road, was apparently speeding when his bike ran off the road just before 3:30 a.m., struck a sign and then a tree.
