Campbell mourns loss of alumnus, trustee, philanthropist Ed Gore July 16, 2014 | From Campbell.edu Brunswick County entrepreneur and Campbell University trustee, philanthropist and Distinguished Alumnus Ed Gore (’52) died in his sleep Tuesday night, according to his family. Gore and his wife Dinah have been a key force in Campbell University’s expansion in recent years.
