Harnett Dispatch

I have received several emails the past few days concerning donations.  A lot of people are asking what they can donate other than cash because there are many concerns about what the money would actually be spent on.  This is a valid concern and I would want to know as well.  After speaking with several people from the community we have decided that the best thing to do is to donate meals, toiletries, gift cards for the hospital cafeteria and deli.  Please do not send cash, checks, money orders, or anything that could be turned in for cash, unless you know the family personally.  We certainly appreciate all the donations, but we want to make sure that everyone is completely comfortable with the donation that is made and they know, for a fact, that is used on the appropriate things.  Thank you all so much for all you’ve done!  Please continue to send your prayers because they’re being answered!  Love, Aunt Sarah
