Jim Burgin’s Feathers seemed Ruffled after ousting

Former Chairman Burgin is lashing out after being ousted from Chairman Seat earlier this week. In statements released Mr. Burgin is claiming that there was a deal made to drop the lawsuit between Commissioner Miller and Hill. Mr. Burgin said that the Lawsuit was dropped due to a deal that was made between Miller and House. Burgin said that is why he was ousted from that Chairman Seat.

Joe Miller said he knew nothing about his appointment to the Chairman seat and that the only reason Jim was ousted was due to his leadership style. After Mr. Burgin tried to pass a Resolution for Rec Fees, Mr. Miller knew that Mr. Burgin was not working for the people of Harnett but instead the developers of Harnett. A common denominator of controversy on the board in the last few years has included Mr. Burgin. When Tim McNeil was Chairman, the same situations were accruing between Mr. Burgin and the other members of the board
