At approximately 2230 hours on September 13, 2013 a 
common law robbery occurred at 65 Sadler Rd. Dunn (Sadler Truck Stop). Two suspects were involved. When an attending cashier opened the cash register for what appeared to be a purchase, one of the suspects grabbed money from the opened drawer and ran from the store. A second suspect was waiting in a vehicle and they drove away. The same type of incident occurred on September 22, 2013 at approximately 2229 hours at 3948 Hodges Chapel Rd. Dunn (Loves Store #412).
On December 9, 2013 Detective Brad Abote charged Montrael Deaaron Oates, BM, 21 YOA, of 559 Jada Allen Rd. Dunn, with both crimes. He was charged with 2 Ct. Common Law Robbery and 2 Ct. Conspiracy Commit Robbery. He is in Harnett county Detention Center under a $30,000.00 secured bond.
The second suspect, Qwandrick Oates, BM, 22 YOA is wanted for 2 Ct. Common Law Robbery and 2Ct. Conspiracy to Commit Robbery. Picture is attached.
