Harnett Taxpayers Foot Bill for New York City Trip
Big Apple
On Dec 4th a delegation from Harnett County went to the Big Apple to accept an award from the Bond Buyer group for their effort s in finding creative financing within the County. The original invitation from the group invited the County Manager and Finance director. After receiving the invitation former Chairman Burgin and Commissioner Springle decide to go on the trip to represent the county. The cost was effective by adding more people to the trip itinerary
Here’s the breakdown of the cost for the trip

$1845.40 Hotel stay for one night for four (The Bond Buyer paid for the second night)
$ 487.32 Each attendee received a check for meals/per diem (documents previously provided)

$2007.20 reimbursement for four flights from The Bond Buyer – pending
$1505.40 reimbursement of $501.80 each Burgin/Springle/Honeycutt for spouses flights – pending
$2649.40 Total cost Harnett County spent (once fully reimbursed) for the New York Deal of Year trip Dec. 4 – 6
