Sex Offender Arrested In Georgia
A registered sex offender who could not be located for nearly a year was arrested December 21st.

William Benjamin Davis, 36, whose last known address was on Lee-Johnson Road, Dunn, in southern Johnston County, moved but failed to notify the Johnston County Sheriff’s Office of his whereabouts, according to Captain A.C. Strickland.

Davis was located in Georgia and charged with failure to report a change of address as a sex offender.

Davis was added to the NC Sex Offender Registryfollowing a November 2008 out-of-state incident.

Davis was confined in the Johnston County Jail under a $50,000 bond.
