The Harnett County Sheriff’s Office would like to remind you to secure your ATV’s when you are not using them. Here are a few tips that you may find helpful:
Always have the serial number written down in a secure location.
Remove the keys from the vehicle.
Store your ATV in a building or out of sight of the roadway.
Use a locking bar or chain between rims of ATV or trailer.
If the ATV is on a Trailer, you should secure the trailer with a hitch lock and gate lock.
