(Carolina Lakes Action Group or CLAG) Supports 3 For Change
February 15, 2014
A small group of property owners (Carolina Lakes Action Group or CLAG) in Carolina Lakes is looking at this year’s Board of Directors Election as an opportunity to alleviate the apathy that is usual in small community elections. Currently, the Board of Directors consists of 11 members. Three of those positions are up for election in March 2014. There are seven homeowners running for these positions. CLAG has interviewed candidates and supports “3 for Change.” The candidates are Joy Crowe, Jean Hubbard and Roger Vickers. Their platform promises property owners communications, representation of property owners, no personal agendas, and updating Board procedures.
In support of these candidates CLAG is preparing flyers, offering support through community oriented social media, and providing lawn signs. Carolina Lakes is offering online voting, as well as written ballots. All seven candidates will have the opportunity to meet, greet and communicate with the property owners on February 23 at the Carolina Lakes Clubhouse.
Carolina Lakes is a gated community located in Western Harnett County. Its population consists of 1700+ homesites.
