Overhills Elementary held a business brunch on February 7th. Members of the business community came to learn how they could partner with the school. The student lighthouse team talked to the audience about their roles on the lighthouse team, the 7 habits of effective students and how they apply at school and home. They also took the business guests on a tour of the school and then shared their leadership notebooks. OES students keep leadership notebooks to write personal mission statements, to set goals, to track their learning data, and to share personal victories and accomplishments.
