Penny believes every child can learn and is committed to working to give every child the educational foundation they need to make the most of their talents.  Penny said, “Every child is an important, unique thread in the fabric of our society and a key to the present and future strength of Harnett County.”

Penny added, “I am a common sense conservative who will actively listen to the citizens and work to find and implement solutions to the challenges and look for opportunities to improve the education of our kids.  My unique background as someone with deep roots in our community and keen understanding of how fast our world is changing enables me to think outside the box while always being guided by the principle that every child is important and every child can learn and has the right to learn.”

“While there are many issues to deal with, I will keep my focus on educating children.  I will also use my business experience to make sure our tax dollars spent educating our children are spent wisely and efficiently,” said Penny.

Penny said, “I am excited about the opportunities ahead and look forward to making positive contributions to and wise investments in educating our kids.”
