Byerly Files for the 53rd District House Seat
Lillington, NC – Erwin resident and retired school principal, Susan Lloyd Byerly, filed today for the North Carolina House in District 53 which includes southern, central, and eastern Harnett County.
“The citizens of Harnett County deserve a Representative in Raleigh who will be more than a professional politician. We need someone who knows the needs of our area and can get results,” ByerIy said.
“I am tired of sitting back and waiting. I want to go to Raleigh and take character, integrity, and hard work with me so that I can bring back the resources and policies our growing county needs.”
Susan is a life-long resident of Harnett County. She went to Campbell University for her undergraduate degree. In addition, she holds a master’s degree from East Carolina University and a doctorate from Fayetteville State University. She has been a classroom teacher, principal, and adjunct professor. Most recently she is working with Hospice Home Care. She is the wife of the late Brooks Byerly and the mother of Benjamin and Blake.
