With more than two months away from the May Primary that will decide who will face each other, Ellmers is lashing out over the potential candidates. Ellmers will face opposition in the Republican primary and 3 democrats are running to face whoever stands in the General. This attack is directed toward candidate Clay Aiken that is running in the Democratic primary.

I am running for re-election this year because I believe that, more than ever, our country needs strong conservative leadership in Washington.
My liberal Hollywood opponent has made it clear that he believes “gridlock” is the problem in Washington.
Friends, the problem in Washington is the Democratic Senate and the President refuse to budge on their tax more, spend more, regulate more agenda.
The last thing this country needs right now is to send a liberal to Washington who will vote with Nancy Pelosi and give President Obama a blank check for his last two years in office.
