The Harnett County GOP held their Convention this weekend

This weekend the Harnett County GOP held their annual convention at the Harnett Commons in Lillington. The keynote speaker was Senator Ron Rabin; there were many elected officials in attendance including Congressional hopeful Frank Roche of Cary who will face Renee Ellmers in the upcoming Republican Primary. All of the candidates on hand were given the opportunity to pitch their campaign and why they are seeking office. A spokesperson from the NC GOP said that the upcoming year looks bright for Republicans but warned that the main hurdle for the party is going to be getting the Republican base out to vote.
