Lottery Money to be given back for the Construction of Schools
There is a house bill 1107 in the North Carolina house that would restore the money made from the lottery and give it back to the counties for the funding of construction. There are over 60 house members both Republican and Democratic that are listed as co-sponsors for this bill, it would place the lottery money back in the hands of the schools to construct needed school. After reviewing all of the members sponsoring this bill, we found out that our own House member David Lewis is not a sponsor for this bill; many people would wonder why he would not be a sponsor with the overcrowding and school funding issues we face here in Harnett County.
