Williamsen wins first state contract under new ownership.
The newest Godwin Group affiliate, Williamsen-Godwin Truck Body
Company in Salt Lake City, announces the launch of a western municipal
campaign. Williamsen, which is in the midst of a four million dollar
retooling and manufacturing upgrade, will begin increasing their
municipal presence in the west as their facility becomes more
productive. Williamsen received its fist municipal state contract
under Godwin ownership last month. The State of Montana chose low
bidder Williamsen-Godwin to fulfill their stainless steel dump body
needs for the next year. Williamsen hopes this is the first of many
state contracts to come. The company once held state municipal dump
body contracts with Colorado, Idaho, Montana, Nevada, New Mexico, Utah
and Wyoming. Williamsen plans to recapture that business over the
coming years with it’s newly invigorated facility and eager staff.
About Williamsen-Godwin

April. Formerly known as Tesco Williamsen, and located in Salt Lake
City, Utah, Williamsen-Godwin is The Godwin Group’s newest and most
westerly affiliate. Williamsen specializes in manufacturing steel and
stainless steel dump bodies, salt spreaders, water tankers, and pup
trailers for both public and private entities.
