Drake Landing to Remain in Operation

The Harnett County board of adjustments voted to allow the shooting range to remain classified as agritourism and will continue in its current operations. After hours of testimony from both sides the board of adjustments favored the shooting range. The County Board of Commissioners is going to try and fight this by implementing a resolution that will disallow shooting ranges from being considered agritourism. For many who have been following this case, many claim that this is politically motivated due to the owner of Drake Landing being former Commissioner Dan Andrews who on many occasions voted against current members that are in control of the board. This will be an ongoing issue and this will not be the last we hear out of this.
