On Wednesday July 30, 2014 at 2140 hours, Harnett County Sheriff Deputies responded to a “shots fired” call at 6761 Ray Road Spring Lake (Shopping Centerparking lot area). Investigation revealed a shooting had occurred in the parking lot of the store and one victim was located behind dumpsters at rear of a business. The victim was deceased and identified as 18 year old EricKentrall Staten, Black male of 106 River Oak St.Spring Lake, NC.
The incident is under investigation, no arrests have been made at this time. Anyone with any information is asked to contact the Harnett County Sheriff’s Office at910-893-9111.
The Harnett Dispatch just got a tip that a shooting has taken place at the Anderson Creek Food Lion 3260 Ray Rd, Spring Lake, NC near Subway.. Sources are saying that one person was dead on arrival..We will keep you updated as it becomes available
