The 1st annual wings over Harnett was held this weekend at the Harnett Airport. The event was a huge success with a large turnout. County Manager Tommy Burns jumped with the elite US Army Golden nights.
The Harnett Dispatch talked with Mr. Burns about his experience and he said “I lost track of the number of times I said Psalm 23 to myself while we were on the way down” “Great group of professionals to work with, these guys and girls are the best in the business and I had no worries at all parachuting with them” “We are at a time when we need more unity, deeper and better relationships with our friends and neighbors. Unity transcends all political and ideological lines, through unity, there is prosperity”.
