Commissioner Miller Defends Lillington Police Officer
After an incident with a Lillington Police officer and Commissioner Gary House, one Commissioner is speaking out against Commissioner House excuse.
“Letter Received by Commissioner Joe Miller”
“Last Saturday, according to the police report, Commissioner House had a run in with a Lillington Police officer over the use of a ball field. Commissioner House claims that officer Byrd is lying in his report. I have known Officer Byrd for many years, he and my son are good friends, they were in the FFA together and they graduated together. This is an outstanding young man and I take serious offense to Commissioner House’s allegations that Officer Byrd would lie on a police report. “The Police aren’t there to choose sides, they are there simply as reporters of what you say.” First of all why would he lie? Second, how would he know how much money the commissioners give the Lillington Parks and Rec department? It’s amazing that HCDPU employees are liars and now the members of the Lillington Police department are liars also! The only one telling the truth is Commissioner House? Does anyone see a pattern here?”
Joe Miller
Harnett County Commissioner

Amen!
Good for You Mr.Miller. the officer has my support too and I dont even know him. but I do know Gary House
How much longer are we the voters going to sit back and let Gary and Jim continue to lie and cheat the voters. I suggest we start the process to remove both of them….
