With the departure of Ken Bryan the CEO of Harnett Health many have been left wondering what’s next for the future of Harnett Health. Tonight the Cape Fear board that consists of 22 members voted to take on the role as the managing partner of the embattled health system here in Harnett County. The Board will implement a new CEO that will oversee operations of Harnett Health. At the time of the meeting there was no mention of a change in the existing Harnett Health Board. The Cape Fear board has a positive outlook on things to come for Harnett Health. Last week there were several high ranking administrators laid off or resigned due to the management partnership. Although the details of the management agreement have not been made public, reliable sources are indicating that the agreement is for a period of two years with a reevaluation at the end of the two years.
