One Killed in Head-on Collision
A man was killed Friday when two pickup trucks collided head-on just before noon in Dunn. Emergency personnel responded to the intersection of Hobson and Jernigan roads.
Both trucks had substantial front-end damage, and a blue truck flipped onto its side from the force of the impact. According to the state Highway Patrol, the driver of an S-10 Chevy pickup was killed. The other driver had minor injuries and was taken to an area hospital by rescue crews.
The S-10 crossed the media, causing the crash, troopers said.
Authorities have yet to release the names of those involved
