District 3 School Board Grassroots Campaign is Growing by Leaps and Bounds
A social media page named District 3, Leave it be on Facebook is growing in numbers and has already reached over 600 followers. The purpose of the group is to unite people in District 3 board of education area to fight the proposed redistricting of children to a six grade center in Dunn. The following statement can be found on the social media page “In the best interest of the future for our children we must come together and let our voices be heard. The rezoning vote to send our children to Dunn Middle for 6th grade is quickly approaching. Please spread the word that we need to fill up the old Lillington High School auditorium on November 24 @ 6:30pm in support of Coats and Erwin!”
