Firefighters Battle House Fire During Strong Winds
Firefighters from Angier, Buies Creek, and Coats were faced with a residential house fire that broke out around 8:00PM on Saturday night. Crews worked steadily on the fire that consumed at least half of the home located on Old Buies Creek Road in Angier. With winds reaching 50mph, firefighters had their work cut out for them getting the fire under control. All responding departments work together and were able to get the fire under control around 10:00PM. According to sources there were 3 people in the home when the fire started but they managed to escape.
