Early Morning House Blaze in The Creek

Buies Creek Fire & Rescue responded to a structural house fire this morning around 7:40AM, the first arriving engine truck from Buies Creek Fire Department reported heavy smoke coming from the structure. Firefighters from Buies Creek with the help from mutual aid departments including Coats, Lillington, and Summerville were able to get the fire under control. At one point during the operation flames could be seen rolling out of the attic area in the front and back of the structure. No one was reported injured and the scene was turned over to Harnett County’s Fire Marshal’s office.
