Death Investigation
On June 1, 2013 at approximately 02:40 hours deputies responded to 2802 Walker Rd. Lillington for a gunshot wound. The victim, George Daronte Dnell Johnson (B/M 41 YOA of 4021 William Bill Luther Dr. Hope Mills) was pronounced dead at the scene. The victim’s body was transported to Betsy Johnson Memorial Hospital and then to Medical Examiner’s Office. The death is under investigation at this time. No further information is available for release.
Stacey Walker
On June 6, 2013 an arrest was made involving the incident at 2802 Walker Rd. Stacey Louise Walker (B/F 42 YOA of 2802 Walker Rd. Linden, NC) was charged with 1 Ct. First Degree Murder. She turned herself in at the Harnett County Sheriff’s Officer earlier today and was processed. Walker was not given a bond until first appearance. Bond was set in Harnett County District Court at $500,000.00 unsecured.
