Sales Tax On the Ballot
According to many that I have talked to, they are under the impression that if the 1/4 cent sales passes on Tuesday November 5th, property taxes will not increase. There is no guarantee that property taxes will not increase in the future. The school needs are signicant and the sales tax increase will only be one measure that needs to be taken to help our schools. I am as conservative as they come and have always fought tax increases but I cannot tell you that property taxes will not increase in the future. I will not mislead anyone.
