Brad Salmon Announces he will run for NC House Seat 51
Local Resident and Attorney, Brad Salmon announced that he will seek election in 2014 for the North Carolina House seat 51 that is held by Republican Mike Stone of Lee County. During the Democratic men’s breakfast held at the Benhaven Ruritan club building Saturday Morning, Mr. Salmon announced his candidacy for the NC House seat 51. Mr. Salmon a native of Harnett County was raised in the Mamers area and grew up on a farm and attended public schools. After High school Mr. Salmon graduated from Campbell University with a Law degree. Mr. Salmon currently has a law practice in Lillington.
In the 2012 election, Mr. Salmon was the democratic candidate that faced Ron Rabin in the general election. Mr. Rabin was able to defeat Mr. Salmon with a slim margin here in Harnett County. Mr. Salmon said that he is running because of the need for common sense leadership. The NC legislation is out of control and we need good governing in order for North Carolina to prosper.
