The Harnett Central High School JROTC will be hosting a car wash on Saturday, October 4th, 2014 at Kelly & West Law Firm in Lillington (across from Hallmark)from 8am to 4pm. A donation of $5 for each car wash will be accepted to help pay for an upcoming Spring Washington, DC field trip.
A federal appeals court ruled Wednesday that two provisions of North Carolina’s controversial 2013 elections law cannot be enforced during the November election. Today’s ruling will allow same day registration and voting during early voting, provisional ballots will also be counted if people vote at the wrong assigned polling place.
Anderson Creek Primary hosted Bright Star Children’s Theatre in a performance of “Gus Goes Green” on September 24.The program featured Gus the dog as he encouraged students to be good citizens of the earth and protect their environment.
