    Overhills Elementary held a business brunch on February 7th. Members of the business community came to learn how they could partner with the school. The student lighthouse team talked to the audience about their roles on the lighthouse team, the 7 habits of effective students and how they apply at school and home.

The Destiny Traveling Science Learning Program is the Morehead Planetarium and Science Center’s way of providing hands-on science education to pre-college teachers and students across North Carolina. She explained how weather reports are produced, how cameras and the green screen works, and how weather instruments work.
